A wonderful discovery tour. We learned different techniques and the lesson about mixing colours was very interesting.
You will paint your own greeting cards with growing pleasure and confidence
After this course you will know:
– different ways to put paint on your paper to achieve different effects,
– how to choose your colours with more ease with very simple, practical, selfmade schema’s,
– when to choose for an opaque, transparent or granulating pigment,
– how to mix a deep black from two or three different pigments and why this is so important in your painting,
– how to effortelessly obtain more harmony in your painting,
– some significant differences between study- and artist quality paint,
– what to look for when choosing between the different kinds of paint, brushes and paper,
– how to paint a fascinating painting with only one pigment,
– that a beautiful piece of art can very well be a very small original watercolour painting,
– that watercolour can be great fun!
I’m pretty sure that my next attempt to learn the technique will be more succesful than the past ones were.

If you already have paints in tubes or pans, please bring them all along to discover more about their particularities.
After the first lesson you will make the right choices while purchasing your watercolour material.
